LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Orleans High School won its first state championship in school history.
The southern Indiana school won the IHSAA Class 1A boys basketball state title, defeating Clinton Prairie 64-55 in Indianapolis Saturday morning.
The Bulldogs extended their lead to 11 points on a three-pointer by Rylan Crocker in the third quarter. The Gophers tied the game at 46, but Orleans took control.
Alex DeWitt scored a game-high 24 points. Crocker finished with 16 points.
The Bulldogs shot 64% from the field.
